Faculty/Program-specific orientation sessions
Orientation sessions for some faculty areas are hosted in person or virtually a few weeks before classes for Fall and Winter. No sessions are offered for the Summer semester. Faculty-specific sessions feature staff and instructors from your specific faculty area who will give you information about your classes and answer any questions you may have. There will also be Student Life staff in attendance, who will talk about life on campus, upcoming events and answer questions about College resources and services.
If you are unable to attend your faculty specific orientation or if there is not one being offered this semester, we also host open sessions with general content about starting at Douglas, with staff on hand to answer questions. Open sessions are open to all new students as well as to parents/supporters.
