Ready to gain the work experience needed to stand out in the job market? Develop necessary job application skills with the Career Centre and then participate in at least 160 hours of practical experience with the three-credit COBA 4885 Experiential Learning and Internship course. Open to Commerce and Business Administration students in select programs, the Career Centre and this course will help you fast-track your career and graduate job-ready.
How it works
Build your skills in resume and cover letter writing, interviewing and job searching in workshops through the Career Centre. You’ll then get help applying for internships that are related to your education through an exclusive job board. Once you’ve been hired for an internship, you’ll enrol in a 3 credit course.
The application and workshops can take time*, so contact the Career Centre early in your studies.
*International students are required to get a Co-op permit, in addition to a student visa, which can take up to four months to obtain.
