We offer a wide range of workshops designed to help students and alumni strengthen their job search skills. Our workshops are suitable for various experience levels, from entry-level to the experienced professional.

Our core curriculum covers resume and cover letter development, tailored job‑application strategies, networking, job search techniques, and LinkedIn optimization. Whether you’re just starting your job search or aiming to improve your applications, these workshops will help you move forward with confidence.

Co-operative Education

Gain work experience while studying at Douglas College. The Co-operative (Co-op) Education program alternates semesters of classroom studies with paid, full-time work related to your program.

Business Internship

Ready to gain the work experience needed to stand out in the job market? Develop necessary job application skills with the Career Centre and be supported in your job search to secure an internship. Then, participate in at least 160 hours of practical experience with the three-credit COBA 4885 course, Experiential Learning & Internship. Open to Commerce and Business Administration students in select programs, the Career Centre and this course will help you fast-track your career and graduate job-ready
