PVPC Refresher (MHCP 611)

Provincial Violence Prevention Curriculum Refresher

Course Description

Violence prevention education and resources have become a priority for all BC health care organizations due to the increasing prevalence of violent incidents in health care. Health care employers have made a provincial commitment to protect workers from workplace violence.

The PVPC Refresher builds upon the knowledge and skills acquired during the 8-hour Provincial Violence Prevention Training workshop. Health Authority employees and students are encouraged to complete the training annually as an opportunity to revisit the PVPC content.
