A to Z: Become a Personal Trainer:

NOVEMBER 2019 INTAKE - REGISTER TODAY!!

 

If your career goal is becoming a certified personal trainer, the Douglas College Sports Institute is the largest provider of British Columbia Recreation and Parks Association (BCRPA) courses and workshops. Register today for the A to Z: Become a Personal Trainer program.  Our outstanding instructors are at the top of their respective fields (many holding PhDs), including personal training, weight training, group fitness, fitness theory and more.

Courses start every two months and the $1,450 program cost includes all taxes, textbooks, Personal Trainer exam, and evaluation fees and is fully tax-deductible. 

Please Note: The program fees do not include the BCRPA Fitness Theory Exam, First Aid & CPR certification and Fitness Registration with the BCRPA which are required by all students to move forward into the Weight Training Module. Students are required to purchase and register for these items accordingly.

Fitness Theory Online classes (ONLY) through Canadian Fitness Education Services Ltd (CFES) is available if you live outside Metro Vancouver, have a busy schedule or are unable to attend the in-class schedule of the Personal Training Program, so you can start your BCRPA Certification as a fitness instructor without setting foot on campus.
