If your career goal is becoming a certified personal trainer, the Douglas College Sports Institute is the largest provider of British Columbia Recreation and Parks Association (BCRPA) courses and workshops. Register today for the A to Z: Become a Personal Trainer program.
Our outstanding instructors are at the top of their respective fields (many holding PhDs), including personal training, weight training, group fitness, fitness theory and more.
Courses start every two months and the $1,450 program cost includes all taxes, textbooks, Personal Trainer exam, and evaluation fees and is fully tax-deductible. Please note: The course fees do not include the Fitness Knowledge Exam, First Aid & CPR certification and Fitness Registration with the BCPRA which are required by all students. Students are required to purchase and register for these items accordingly.
Online classes are available if you live outside Metro Vancouver, have a busy schedule or are unable to attend class in person, so you can still complete your BCRPA Certification as a fitness instructor without setting foot on campus.
For more information on the A to Z: Become a Personal Trainer program, call 604-527-5492 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
