Course feedback FAQ

Review frequently asked questions below about Douglas College Course Feedback.

Course Feedback is a centralized student feedback process. It gives students an opportunity to share their perspectives on their course and learning experiences at the College. Since Winter 2018, the feedback collected through Course Feedback has been an important resource for improving courses and supporting the overall quality of learning at the College. Aggregated Course Feedback results also inform the College's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to student learning.

Course Feedback is administered fully online by Douglas College Institutional Effectiveness (IE) through Explorance Blue, the College's selected enterprise feedback platform. Course Feedback is separate from other Faculty-based evaluations, such as instructor evaluations.

Douglas College implemented Course Feedback system as one of the ways students can share their course and learning experiences with their instructors and the College. Together, student feedback are used to inform potential improvements to the courses at the College.

Instructors can use Course Feedback to reflect on what is and isn’t working in their courses, and to make improvements for future offerings of the course.

Course Feedback will be administered online through Explorance Blue, the College's enterprise feedback platform.
