Emergency Management is the focus of reducing the harmful aspects of disasters through the organization and management of resources and responsibilities.  The four phases of Emergency Management include: Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery.

In the unlikely event of a fire, gas leak, violent intruder on campus or other urgent situation, our top priority is the safety of all students and employees.  Douglas College is committed to providing the necessary resources and procedures to effectively respond to any emergency.

Emergency Management Response Structure
