Music Entrance Scholarships and Awards

In order to be considered for a music entrance scholarship or award, all general and program-specific admission criteria must be complete before the awards application deadline. Specifically, eligible applicants will have completed an audition and will have been placed in MUSC 1110 after taking the Level 2 Music Theory Assessment and in MUSC 1115 after taking the Aural Skills Assessment.

If you are eligible to apply for an entrance scholarship or award, complete the application form and provide the supporting documents as outlined. Please submit all files via email to performingarts@douglascollege.ca using “Music Entrance Awards, <applicant name>” in the subject field.

Transcripts

Please note that your interim high school transcripts must be emailed separately to the Music Department for award consideration. You can ask that your school counsellor email unofficial transcripts to the Music Department or you may email scans of your own copies to us if you already have them. (Documents in PDF format are preferred.) This will be in addition to any transcripts requested by the Admissions Office.
