Audio Engineering
The Audio Engineering series consists of part-time non-credit courses offered by the Community Music School. The first two are intensives serving to upgrade Pro Tools and Live Sound skills for applicants to the new Advanced Certificate in Applied Audio, but are open to everyone.
Participating students will learn how to set up and operate live sound, recording equipment, and audio software through hands-on experience. Course content is focused on the basics of recording and engineering in both recording studios and for live events. Classes include practical recording and live sound exercises with a variety of instruments.
This series is typically only offered at the beginning of the summer term in late April. (Check this page in February/March 2027 for summer 2027 dates.)
