Strong Start: Welcome to Douglas College is a self-paced, self-enrolled course that lives right in your Blackboard. Learn about Douglas College, how to be a successful student and all the college essentials, such as how to access your online classes and services like peer tutoring, and how to get your student ID. Plus, discover how you can stay healthy with fitness classes and wellness events, and how you can contribute to the College community.

Orientation Workshops
Workshops set you up for success at Douglas College. These workshops are hosted on Zoom and/or In-person. Registration is required to attend.
In this session, get informed about your role in academic integrity and the risks and consequences of academic misconduct in an interactive session. Learn more about the mandatory course DCUE 0100 Academic Integrity and get a chance to win prizes.

We are so excited to welcome you to Douglas College. Get a head start on getting oriented for your first semester by attending our in-person orientation sessions.
Why should students attend?
Through these sessions, Student Life will provide you your first look at life on campus, tell you about upcoming events, and provide you with information on college services to support you on your academic journey. Request to go on a campus tour to learn where your classes will be held! We’ll also be giving away awesome prizes for students who attend New Student Orientation.
