Plus, discover how you can stay healthy with fitness classes and wellness events, and how you can contribute to the College community.

Workshops set you up for success at Douglas College. These workshops are hosted on Zoom and/or In-person. Registration is required to attend.

We are so excited to welcome you to Douglas College. Get a head start on getting oriented for your first semester by attending our in-person orientation sessions.
Why should students attend?
In these sessions, you will have the opportunity to meet with faculty staff and instructors. They will give you information about your classes and tips on how to be a successful student. Come and chat with Student Life where we’ll give you your first look at life on campus, tell you about upcoming events, and provide you with information on college services to support you on your academic journey. Request to go on a campus tour to learn where your classes will be held! You can also get your textbooks and course materials at the Bookstore early. We’ll also be giving away awesome prizes for students who attend New Student Orientation.

In-person orientation for international students
Visit our New Westminster Campus and start making friends before the start of semester. Plus, get a headstart on completing the international student checklist. Attendance is optional, but all international students are encouraged to come.

Douglas College New Westminster campus is easily accessible by Skytrain and is a short uphill walk on the 8th street from the New Westminster Skytrain station. To find out more information on how to get to campus, please check this page.
