Youth camps and programs

Douglas College offers over 150 sport, computer and creative camps and programs to kids aged 6-17 in the Coquitlam, New Westminster and Burnaby communities. Camps are offered over a week-long period during Spring break and over the Summer break, while programs run on weekends and evenings over a longer time period during the Fall, Winter and Spring seasons. No matter what you choose, our camps and programs - which include basketball, coding and computer design, student leadership, badminton, mathletes, digital photography, drama and improv, cartooning, soccer, tennis and more – will nurture and support your child’s learning and physical activity.

Registration for Spring Break camps is now open. Register before February 21 for the Early Bird Rate and save up to $25.

FAQ

Yes. If your child is registered in a morning and afternoon camp during the same week, we will provide supervised lunch care with the exception of New Westminster off-campus camps.

For all off-campus camps in Coquitlam, instructors will walk campers to and from Town Centre Park/Pinetree Community Centre and the Coquitlam Campus. Transportation will not be provided between New Westminster Campus camps and Queen's Park/Queensborough locations.

For half-day camps, we recommend your child pack a snack and a water bottle, as there are no drinking fountains at either campus. If your child is attending a full-day camp (including a morning and afternoon camp in the same week), please pack a lunch, snacks and a water bottle. For sport camps, PE strip or comfortable clothes they can move in are recommended. Equipment will be provided, but your child is welcome to bring their own (e.g., basketballs, badminton racquets, etc.).

Emails with all camp information, including location details, are sent out by the Friday before camps start.

A $15 processing fee will be charged for each camp withdrawal. Withdrawal requests must be made at least three business days prior to the start date. There will be no refunds issued after the camp start date. See Refund Policy for more information.
