Sept. 16: Russell Wallace (Lil’wat)
Russell Wallace is an award-winning composer, producer and traditional singer from the Lil’wat Nation. He’s recently released “Unceded Tongues,” which is sung in the St'át'imc language and combines pop, jazz and blues with Salish musical forms. He has been making music for over 30 years, and performed at the Vancouver International Jazz Festival in 2019 as the Indigenous Artist in Residence.
