Expand your knowledge of computing and information systems through hands-on training with the Web and Mobile Computing Advanced Certificate. You’ll learn practical skills in designing and developing web and mobile applications, from concept to deployment.

Excellent job prospects

An increasing shortage of skilled tech talent in B.C. has created a gap between supply and demand; this is good news for graduates of information technology (IT) programs, as B.C. tech companies are competing for employees and offering above-average wages. Rapid growth in the tech sector will lead to an expected 40,000 job openings by the end of 2021.

Expand your IT skills

To succeed in this program, you should have a background in computing and information technology. A credential (such as a certificate, diploma or degree) from a recognized post-secondary institution is recommended. This program can also be applied towards the two-year Computing Studies and Information Systems (CSIS) Diploma.

No previous experience or education in the IT field? We recommend you apply to the CSIS Diploma program instead to gain the requisite introductory knowledge.
