What can sea slugs, ravens and lichen teach us about survival? Join an immersive sound bath experience with soundscapes composed by Music instructor Hazel Fairbairn and poetry from English instructor Kim Trainor’s most recent collection, “A Blueprint for Survival.”
Presented by the Strathcona Spatial Sound Society, Dec. 6, 7–10pm at Lobe Studio in East Vancouver, this event explores the lives of other species and how they offer inspiring models for human adaptation and survival in the face of the threat of extinction.
“Seeds” will also feature a student-instructor collaborative performance featuring Music Technology student Kei Tatsuno.
