On February 5, 2023, southern Turkey and northern Syria experienced a devastating earthquake that resulted in a considerable loss of life, injured thousands more and severely impacted the ability of families to connect.

Student Success Advisors (SSAs) -- Each Douglas College student has a Student Success Advisor they can go to for academic support and financial concerns. SSAs can also ensure that students are linked to other services within the College, as appropriate.

Douglas College Counselling -- Douglas College students have access to free, accessible and confidential support through the student counselling office. Crisis appointments are available daily.

Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) -- Homewood Health, the Douglas College Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) provides 24/7 confidential, professional assistance to help Douglas College employees and their family members with concerns that affect their personal and work lives.
