Dr. Edith Kirkpatrick appointed Associate Dean of Health Sciences

Douglas College is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Edith Kirkpatrick to the position of Associate Dean, Health Sciences. Dr. Kirkpatrick received her EdD in Educational Leadership in 2012. She has worked extensively in post-secondary education in a variety of progressive roles over a 23-year career span, including extensive experience in curriculum development.   

Since 2014, Dr. Kirkpatrick has held the role of Program Coordinator for Health Sciences at Douglas College. In this role she has in partnership initiated new and innovative programming, such as the highly successful End of Life Doula program, a program that educates individuals to provide care and compassion in life’s final transition. Dr. Kirkpatrick assumes the role of Associate Dean, August 1, 2019.
