Computers touch every aspect of our lives. Whether you are interested in a high-tech career or you just want to understand what goes on inside these amazing machines, you’ve come to the right place. Computing Science at Douglas can give you a solid academic and applied foundation in computer programming and the science of computing, as a step towards a computing degree or to build your computer literacy to complement any program of study.
We currently offer first-year university transferable introductory courses in Python and C++ programming, as well as a hands-on Raspberry Pi course. Use these courses as electives in your program, or use them to earn a Computing Science Certificate, a 10-course package designed to transfer smoothly into a university computing science program.
Our Computing Science program is growing! Please check back often for new courses and programs that are under development and coming soon.
