Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology

If you are looking to get into a field with interesting and varied career options, the Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Psychology at Douglas College may be for you. There are a variety of possible careers in psychology, including clinical or counselling practice, academic research, human resources or criminal justice. With that in mind, this applied degree offers several options to help you pursue your desired profession. In the third and fourth years of the degree, you'll complete a 15-credit applied specialization in one of the following:

  • Psychosocial Rehabilitation
  • Disability and Applied Behaviour Analysis
  • Forensic/Criminology
  • Applied Theory and Research
  • Leadership and Management
