Anvil Office Tower Access

Overnight, there was a fire at a business next to Douglas College’s Anvil Office Tower building. The fire was contained and there were no reports of injuries.  

Anvil Office Tower is open and accessible by foot-traffic only. The roads around Anvil Office Tower are closed to vehicle traffic and the Anvil Office Tower parkade is also closed. Employees with parking permits at Anvil Office Tower may park at the New Westminster Campus parkade in any employee permit stall.

The student parking lot on Carnarvon is unaffected and still open. All classes and activities will continue today at Anvil Office Tower as scheduled. The New Westminster and Coquitlam campuses are unaffected and are open as scheduled.
