  • Select, adapt, and/or design EAL instructional materials and tasks for diverse EAL learners across settings and proficiency levels.
  • Plan, deliver, analyze, and reflect on EAL lessons that integrate adult education principles, methodological and linguistic knowledge, and classroom observation insights.
  • Assess EAL learner progress using appropriate assessment tools and providing constructive feedback on writing, speaking, and pronunciation.
  • Identify and communicate features of English grammar and phonology clearly and accurately to support EAL learner understanding and language development.
  • Demonstrate understanding of intercultural communication in the language classroom and apply strategies for effective EAL learner support and needs-based tutoring.
  • Pursue professional growth by addressing teaching and tutoring challenges through reflective practice, developing job-seeking strategies, and understanding employment expectations in EAL contexts.
