Learning Activities

Students learn through active participation in group interaction.  Although the course is not group therapy, students are encouraged and challenged to take risks.  Personal growth develops from a willingness to share experiences, thoughts and feelings.  This occurs in HUMD 1100 in the form of offering input to class discussions, being active in small group discussions and participating in presentations, role-plays and group exercises.
