Douglas College offers a wide variety of week-long camps designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and keep kids moving — all in a safe and supportive environment right here in Coquitlam and New Westminster.
Choose from numerous exciting half-day (3 hour) or full-day (7 hour) camps, where your child can dive into their passions! Whether they’re into sports, tech, leadership or the arts there is something for everyone.
For ages 6–9: Our younger campers explore new skills through play-based learning, teamwork, and creative expression — all while making new friends and having a blast.
For ages 10–14: Through hands-on, interactive experiences, the older kids take on more advanced challenges, develop leadership skills, and deepen their knowledge and abilities in areas they love.

Spring break camp descriptions
Lights, camera, action! Are your kids passionate about acting and wanting to take the next step and explore performance in front of a camera? This program covers auditioning techniques, character development, the moment before and after, hitting your mark, the importance of your eyeline, cold reading, script analysis, scene study and more.
Get ready for a creative adventure! This full-day camp is packed with art and writing activities that will have your kids drawing, painting, and crafting stories like pros. From penning poetry to journalism, they’ll explore their artistic side and maybe even create the next masterpiece.
Calling all future basketball stars! Our Junior Basketball Camp is the perfect place to learn the basics of the game including dribbling, shooting, passing and defence. Have a blast, meet new friends, and have fun while learning to dribble like a champ!
Ready to level up your game? Join our Youth Basketball Camp this spring break for epic skills, drills, and games that will have you dunking like a pro…or at least looking cool trying. This program teaches the different phases of the game, including passing, dribbling, shooting, defense, rebounding and one-on-one moves.
Coding is the future! In this camp, your kid will learn the skills needed to build simple websites and games. Campers will refine their design and develop their logic and problem-solving abilities, working on different projects every day.

Make Spring Break easier with Douglas College’s Hot Lunch Program! For just $65 (GST included), your child will enjoy a delicious hot lunch every day of camp — complete with a main dish, side, dessert, and drink.
From kid-approved favorites like mac & cheese, chicken quesadillas, pizza, spaghetti, and chicken fingers, we’ve got meals they’ll love — and you’ll love the convenience.

Please us ethe link above and review this form with your child so they understand the behavioural expectations for our camps and programs. Once you have reviewed it, download the PDF, and initial it with your child, and then email the completed form to youthcamps@douglascollege.ca.
