Admissions Requirements

This program is intended for students with degrees in areas other than Business.

Applicants must have an undergraduate degree (bachelor level) from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada, or any English speaking country. Applicants with an undergraduate degree (bachelor level) from a non-English speaking country will be required to meet the Douglas College English language proficiency requirement of English 12 with a minimum grade of "C" or one of the acceptable substitutions.

Required Courses - Year 1 (PDD Accounting Studies)

  2. ACCT 2320 Introductory Management Accounting
  3. ECON 1150 Principles of Micro Economics

  6. BUSN 3431 Business Statistics II
  7. ACCT 3310 Intermediate Accounting I

Students who complete the Year 1 required courses are eligible to receive a Post Degree Diploma in Accounting Studies.

A C+ overall average for the program is required for graduation with a minimum grade of C for each individual course.
