The Medical Office Assistant Online Certificate Program provides people who currently work in an office environment with the skills needed to work in physicians' offices, clinics, public or private hospitals, nursing homes, and community health centres. Courses include medical administrative procedures, medical terminology, medical billing procedures and clinical procedures and practice. The program is offered over the Internet, allowing students to complete coursework on their own time. Exams are written at the College campus.NOTE: International students are not currently eligible for this program. For more information, contact Douglas College International.
Effective for Summer 2017 graduation, a minimum of 50% of the required program courses must be taken at Douglas College.

Successful completion of all courses is required with a "C-" or better for graduation.
The Office Administration Diploma Program transfers towards the Douglas College Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or Kwantlen Polytechnic University's Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Entrepreneurial Leadership.
