Douglas College offers a variety of English and Mathematics upgrading courses designed to help you upgrade your education and skills and prepare you to enter college-level programs and courses. All classes provide a supportive environment that encourage you to develop effective learning and study strategies. You can take upgrading courses while also taking some university transfer courses at Douglas.

Adult Education programs
If you have a disability or a barrier to education or employment, our many Vocational Education and Skills Training (VEST) programs can provide the support you need. The primary focus of the VEST programs is career exploration, experiential learning through practicum opportunities, and the development of work skills for employment.
