About
Maureen Nicholson teaches in the Post-Degree Diploma in Professional Communication. She is an editor by trade and a former president of the Editors' Association of Canada. She served eight years as a municipal councillor and regional representative for Bowen Island Municipality and Metro Vancouver Regional District. She formerly chaired the Communications Department and coordinated the Post-Degree Diploma in Professional Communication. Her research interests include editing and attention, and local government and communication. Currently serving as Interim Associate Dean for the Faculty.
