Winter 2026 Semester Academic Dates
Withdrawal and refund deadline dates only apply to standard courses of fifteen weeks in duration, starting on the first calendar week of the semester.

| Thu, Jan 15 | Deadline to apply for transfer credit to ensure credit has been recorded to meet course pre-requisites for the Summer registration. |
| Thu, Jan 15 | Graduation applications open for Summer graduation ceremonies (June). |
| Sat, Jan 17 | Deadline to apply for Douglas College Winter semester Bursaries, Awards, and Scholarships |
| Sun, Jan 18 | Last day to add a course. |
| Sun, Jan 18 | Last day to change from credit to audit status in a course. |
| Sun, Jan 18 | Last day to drop a course without receiving a "W" on record (subsequent withdrawals receive a notation of "W"). |
| Mon, Jan 19 | Fee payment deadline for courses added between Dec 12 and Jan 18. Students paying after this date will incur late payment penalties of $25 per registered course. Students will NOT be deregistered from courses after this deadline. |

| Mon, Mar 9 to Sat, Mar 14 | Mid-semester: students may obtain mid-semester standing from instructors during this week in order to make decisions about dropping courses by the course withdrawal deadline of March 16. |

| Mon, Apr 20 | Deadline to pay tuition fees for the Summer 2026 semester for domestic and returning international students. Full fees must be paid to avoid being de-registered from all courses and removed from all waitlists. This will be the only fee deadline that will result in de-registration for non-payment of fees. |
| Mon, Apr 20 to Thur, Apr 23 | The registration system (add/drop) and wait-listing pages are unavailable from Monday, April 20 to Thursday, April 23 due to processing of fee payments, and will reopen at 9:00 am on Friday, April 24 for ALL students. |
| Thu, Apr 16 to Fri, Apr 24 | Examination period. |
| Fri, Apr 24 | The registration system will reopen at 9:00 am on Friday, April 24 for ALL students. Waitlist offers will be available at 9:00 am April 24 and will expire if not accepted by 11:59 pm Sunday, April 26. |
