Thousands of dollars in funding are now available for B.C. residents looking to advance their skills training in eligible Douglas College programs through the provincial StrongerBC future skills grant.
For the 2026–2027 academic year, Douglas College has been allotted $500k in funding, doubling the amount from the previous academic year. Eligible students may receive up to $3,500 for short-term training.
“With the StrongerBC grant, Douglas College is providing more people with access to training that gives them an edge in a competitive labour market,” said Dr. Kathy Denton, President of Douglas College.
