Pride Season 2023 begins across Canada!

Today, Pride Season begins across Canada!

At Douglas College, we stand in solidarity with LGBTQ2S+ communities on our campuses, across Canada, and around the world. We also recognize the historically multifaceted nature of Pride. It is not only a celebration of the community, but also a reminder of the work that we all have left to do to advance justice and progress.

We’re committed year-round to supporting LGBTQ2S+ people, pushing continuously for equity, and creating a welcoming environment on our own campuses.  To that end, please see below a round-up of current LGBTQ2S+-centric resources — both internal and external — available for Douglas students, staff and community members.

Happy Pride Season to all! We’re grateful for the chance to be a part of Pride events across Metro Vancouver this year, and we’re looking forward to extending the love all through the summer.
