English and Math Upgrading Placement Test Booking

Thank you for your interest in upgrading courses at Douglas College. We offer courses in English Upgrading and Math Upgrading.

Before registering in an upgrading course at Douglas College, your first step would be to apply to Academic Upgrading using the BC Education Planner on the website https://www.douglascollege.ca/future-students/apply-douglas/domestic-students

Once you have applied and received your student ID number, your next step would be to schedule your placement test for English Upgrading and/or Math Upgrading.

For the English Upgrading placement test, please allow 3 hours to write the test.
For the Math Upgrading placement test, please allow 2 hours to write the test.
If you are booking both the English and Math Upgrading placement tests, please make sure they are not taking place at the same time. When selecting your choice, make sure you are picking the correct campus as well. Coquitlam and New Westminster dates are listed.

If you have written our placement test within the last two years, you will not be eligible to write at this time.
