Co-operative Education

Co-operative Education (Co-op) integrates academic studies with related work experience. After completing 18 credits Co-op students can alternate semesters of classroom studies with semesters of paid, full-time employment. This is a beneficial experience for Co-op students because they are more likely to find jobs in their field when they graduate. According to a recent study, 82% of Co-op students found jobs that were "very" or "somewhat" related to their studies, compared with only 58% of non-Co-op students.

Want to get started?  Check to see if you meet the Co-op Admission Requirements then attend an upcoming information session. Next submit your application to the Co-op department for Fall 2017 work terms by TBA. Your final step is to attend Resume, Cover Letter & Interview Skills seminar TBA.
