Academic Foundations 3-course packages

Don’t know what you want to study? Explore a variety of arts and science courses through the Certificate in Academic Foundations program, while earning credits you can apply to degree programs at Douglas College or another institution later on.

We offer 3 options: a general Academic Foundations Certificate, an Academic Foundations for Potential Nursing Applicants Certificate and an Academic Foundations for Potential Psychiatric Nursing Applicants. All programs consist of a set of 10 university-transferable courses (30 credits).

If you’re not sure what courses to begin with, you can start off with one of our pre-bundled 3-course (9-credit) Academic Foundations packages. These packages give you priority registration to high-demand courses, a guaranteed 3-day-per-week class schedule and introduce you to other students with similar interests.
