If you have taken courses at other institutions and would like the credits evaluated for transfer purposes to Douglas College you must complete a Transfer Credit Request Form and submit it to the Registrar's office - either by mail, email to email@example.com, or in person, along with an official transcript from your sending institution (please note: photocopies, faxes and emails of transcripts are deemed unofficial and will not be accepted). Transfer credit is not done automatically. Students are responsible for initiating the transfer credit process.

If you have been admitted to the College after the above deadlines and require courses to be transferred to meet pre-requisites for registration, please contact the appropriate department. You may be able to request a pre-requisite override. Overrides are granted at the discretion of the department.

For evaluation your file must contain the following:
Transfer credit is processed in date order received and your complete file will be reviewed by the Transfer Credit Officer. Any requests involving the submission of course outlines and/or exceeds time limit will be forwarded to the appropriate Faculty evaluator. Please allow additional time for the processing of requests of this nature, as they can take up to 3 months to be processed, but may take longer during peak periods. All results will be entered to your Douglas College student record (viewable in the Transfer Credit Evaluation Summary area of your myAccount login), and you will be sent an e-mail informing you when your request has been completed.
