The ONS Team includes and outstanding combination of professional and student staff members, who are dedicated to assisting new domestic students in achieving their academic, professional and personal goals. Chelsea Ousey, Supervisor - Student Recruitment and Support

Chelsea Ousey Chelsea grew up in Victoria, BC before moving to Vancouver to pursue a Bachelors of Arts at UBC in Women's Studies and Anthropology. After graduating and working at UBC, Chelsea came to Douglas College to support prospective students and orientation programming. Chelsea supports prospective students from Vancouver and she loves answering your questions - whether you're a student, high school counsellor, family member or guardian. She can help you to decide if Douglas College is the right fit for you and your journey.

Sabrina Aguilera West, Student Recruitment and Support Specialist

Sabrina Aguilera WestSabrina was born and raised in Mexico. After completing her Degree in Marketing, she went on to work in the education field, gaining experience in communications, student life, and in recent years focusing on the marketing and recruitment of Canadian, Latin American and American students. She joined Douglas as a Student Recruitment and Support Specialist to assist students who are considering enrolling at Douglas College as well as welcoming and supporting new Douglas College students. Sabrina enjoys the opportunity of supporting students with their education goals, while also getting to know them personally through a dialogue about their future ambitions and dreams.

John Kinsley, Student Recruitment and Support Specialist

John Kinsley's profile pictureJohn grew up in the Cowichan Valley, on Vancouver Island. Being from a smaller community, he quickly realized that he wanted to explore further than the boundaries of the island. He moved to Vancouver just for a change, but found himself completing a Bachelor of Communication Studies. During his studies at Capilano University, he became immersed in the campus community, and encourages students to get involved. As a Student Recruitment and Support Specialist at Douglas College, he wants to engage with prospective students to get them excited about the academic and student leadership opportunities, and support them in finding the program best that fits them.

Eric Glanville, Manager

Eric Glanville, Manager Eric was born and raised in Burnaby, BC, and completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology at SFU. After working for a few years in the private sector, he completed his Master's degree in Leadership from Royal Roads University, in Victoria. As a student leader he helped to produce freshmen orientation programs, campus spirit events, and western Canada's largest outdoor dance party. During his career, Eric has spoken about academic and professional success strategies with more than 40,000 students at high schools, colleges and universities across the province.

As the Manager of the Office for New Students, Eric is responsible for new student recruitment and transition programs, as well as campus life and student leadership activities. "I love meeting new students, and helping them define and achieve their personal and professional goals," he says. "The 'college years' are an exciting time of self-discovery and growth -- it's a privilege to be a part of that experience for the students at Douglas College."
