Whether you're looking for help with a personal or academic issues, visa application assistance or just want to make a new friend, Douglas offers a variety of services to help you succeed as an international student.
Douglas College International (DCI) provides support in a number of different languages. Our services include everything from immigration document support to academic and personal counselling. See the flow chart below for the list of services offered by our staff members. No matter what you need, we're here to help. To meet Academic Advisors at the International Office, please book an appointment or come to one of our drop-in sessions.
To book an appointment with an International Academic Advisor, talk to the staff members at the front desk counter in the International Office (NW S2800).
To sign-up for the Same-Day Appointment session, please check-in at the computers in the front lobby area of International Office. Appointment slots will be given out on first come, first serve basis. We start the sign-up for the day when we open the office.

Need help with a paper or assignment? The Learning Centre offers both online and face-to-face tutoring, as well as self-help materials. Computer assistance is also available. If you are enrolled in Douglas College courses, all Learning Centre services are free. Find out more about the Douglas College Learning Centre.
Need help with your ELLA homework? The English Language Tutoring program is for domestic and international students who want to study and do homework in a supported environment. It has a qualified assistant who is there to help you with your ELLA homework. To find out more about the English Language Tutoring program, contact the Learning Centre.
As an international student, you also have access to all other student services at Douglas, including:
