Counselling is available to help you deal with personal concerns that may be affecting your studies or personal well-being. We’ll work with you to explore what’s happening in your life and help you identify strategies to help.

Anxiety: Anxiety BC has Anxiety resources, self-help exercises and printable handouts on common anxiety concerns. Also, “Relax & Rest” is an app for your iphone or android filled with meditations to help manage anxiety.
Depression: Here to Help has information on depression. It covers What it is? Could I have it? Where to go from here? and everything in between.
Suicide Prevention: The Crisis Centre has information on how to help yourself or someone you are concerned about who may be considering suicide. Their FAQ page is a great place to start.
LGBTQ+: QMUNITY - BC's Queer Resource Centre, responds to the needs of BC’s queer communities and helps them thrive. The Trans Alliance Society offers transgender support, education, outreach and advocacy.
Mindfulness: Dr. Rick Hanson's website offers mindfulness resources and exercises.
Eating Disorders: Looking Glass Foundation of BC offers resources, support and online groups around disordered eating.
Domestic Abuse: WAVAW - Women Against Violence Against Women, is a resource for women and children who are abused or fleeing domestic abuse
Grief and Loss: Crossroads Hospice Society (Tri-Cities) and New West Hospice Society for those seeking support around loss and grief
