Steps to requesting services

If you are considering studying at Douglas College and you will require services from Accessibility Services start planning early! Some of the services you may need, such as adaptive equipment, adapted textbooks, and interpreting services require many months of planning time. For these services you should complete the steps to request services at least 3 months before the semester start date.

Call or email the Future Students’ Office to find out more about the Information Sessions.

Submit your application! Apply here. If you are a Canadian Citizen or Permanent resident and you have questions, contact the Future Students’ Office. If you are an International Student, or require a study permit, contact Douglas College International.

Obtain documentation of disability, to find out more about specific documentation that is required to support your application for disability services.

If the class or program in which you are interested requires Assessment Testing for which you may need special accommodations, please contact Accessibility Services. You will need to provide documentation of your disability in order to receive accommodations for assessment testing.
