Office 365 is a collection of services that provides you with Microsoft Office applications and email service in the cloud, so you do not need to physically install them on each PC, laptop or mobile device you use. As a Douglas College registered student, you have free access to it.
Besides your Douglas College email account, you will be able to use applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You will also have one terabyte of OneDrive space in the cloud. When do I get Office 365?
Your account is created when you register for your first course. The details (including your Douglas College email address) are sent to your personal email — the one informed to the College when you register. If you do not have this email from Douglas, you can either check this information in myAccount or contact the CEIT Service Desk at 604 527 5330 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I log in?
1. Go to http://portal.office.com. 2. On the Email field, type your College email address (email@example.com). NOTE: this email address can be found under Personal Information in myAccount. 3. On the Password field, type the Wi-Fi password (College Network Access password. Your password is sent to your personal email when you're registered for at least one course). 4. Click Sign in.
