Douglas College > Student Services > Advising > Academic Advising > Course planning > Workshops and events
New students are invited to attend a course planning session offered every Fall and Winter semester. We offer course planning sessions for new students enrolled in arts, science, business, General Studies and Academic Foundations programs.
At the course planning session you will meet with an Academic Advisor to discuss your academic plan and also have the opportunity to learn about other resources, such as, how to register.
SFU, UBC and other institutions often visit Douglas College to advise students on admission criteria and program requirements. Have your questions answered, learn to prepare yourself for university and make yourself competitive for admission.
Details will be listed below when available.
