What is the EDGE?
The EDGE stands for Engage. Discover. Grow. Express
It is a 3 day, team oriented, action-packed event for first year students.
New students will be assigned to a team that is led by two senior students. You and your team will discover more about the College while participating in ice-breakers and team-builder challenges, recreation activities, and interactive games, just to name a few!
This event is meant to foster new relationships, welcome you to student life, build confidence and help you feel more connected to the Douglas College community!
When and where is the event?
Thursday, Sept 12th 4:30pm-8:30pm | New Westminster Campus
Friday, Sept 13th 4:00pm-9:30pm | New Westminster Campus
Saturday, Sept 14th 11:00am-4:00pm | Coquitlam Campus
(It is highly encouraged to attend all 3 days)
Who can attend?
Any new student who began their studies at the College in winter, summer, or fall of 2019.
If you are interested in the event but are not a new student you can apply to be a team leader or station volunteer. Check out the opportunities HERE
The cost per student is $20. This price includes 3 meals, an EDGE t-shirt, and 3 days of non-stop fun!
Registration for the EDGE will open on August 16, 2019. Please check back then!
