New Student Orientation 2018!

New to Douglas? Get a head start on the Fall Semester by attending New Student Orientation. Your orientation leader will take you through a fun-filled day where you'll get to meet your future classmates and instructors, tour the campus, beat the lines for your student ID and textbooks, win prizes and more!

Ready to register? Find your faculty below and click on the date to sign-up. To make the most out of your orientation experience, students are encouraged to register for the day their Faculty Specific Orientation is scheduled. If your faculty, or program, is being hosted at both campuses, pick either the campus you'll be spending most time at or the date that works best for you.

Important Notes: If your faculty or program is not listed, it is because they are not offering an afternoon orientation session. In this case, you are welcome to attend any date by selecting "All Programs Welcome" on the registration form.

Orientation Schedule Snapshot:

  • Check-in from 8:30 - 9:30am
    • Coquitlam Campus orientation meet outside the A/B building (inside the A/B Atrium if raining)
    • New Westminster Campus orientation meet in the concourse
  • Spend the first half of the day learning about the College, campus and participating in fun activities.
  • After lunch, join other students from your faculty to learn more about your program from some of the instructors. 
  • End the day around 3pm.
