The Douglas College Health Fair is designed to provide you with educational opportunities that address your overall health and wellbeing and to challenge you to take action and make a positive change(s) in your life.  College departments, student groups and community health organizations come together to help create a healthier campus of well-informed students and employees.

Health Tickets will once again be used this year. You will be required to either learn something (e.g. top 5 risks for male cancers) or be assessed (e.g. BMI) at each booth to get your ticket validated. The more times your ticket is validates the more draw entries for the grand prizes.

Peer Health Educators

The Peer Health Education Program is an involved team of enthusiastic, health-minded students who volunteer to provide current health and wellness information to students. The program provides opportunities for students to gain hands on experience in the field of Health Promotion, Marketing, and Event Management.
