Making it All Happen: Personal Management & Time (4 Hours)

Making it All Happen Personal Management and TimeIs there really such a thing as ‘time management’, or is ‘Time’ just some uncontrollable beast that keeps on marching while we get left behind?
These days it seems like everyone has to do more, with fewer resources. We have great plans that we’d like to get started (and eventually complete), but the day-to-day demands seem to keep those valuable projects on the corner of our desk. So how do we move forward, get the job done, manage the details and still have a life?

Join us for this fast-paced and interactive workshop that will explore:

  • The neuroscience behind the effects of stress and decision making;
  • Valuable tools and tips that you can immediately use to tame your mounting workload;
  • Proactive productivity and how to incorporate it into your daily routine;
  • Self-Leadership and how to better handle distractions, emergencies and focus on the important; and
  • Effective goal setting and action plans that work.

Price per on-site group workshop is $1295.00 (up to 18 seats) or $199.00 per person for individuals attending public courses delivered at the college or 3rd party venue.

MINDSHIFT Working Better with Stress

MINDSHIFT: Working Better with Stress
(4 hours)

Work can be stressful. It takes up a good portion of our life, and if it happens to be a source of anxiety, that stress can take a terrible toll on both our mental and physical health. Workers today are interrupted seven times an hour, distracted up to 2.1 hours a day and are expected to do increasingly more with fewer resources. We can’t completely eliminate stress in the workplace (nor would we want to), but could change how we think about stress allow us to be more effective overall?

This extremely practical workshop for both employees and Supervisors will shift your mindset about stress by exploring:

  • Stress response theory, Locus of control & Circles of influence;
  • Response-ability, or our ability to respond;
  • The difference between ‘good’ and ‘bad’ stress;
  • How to expand your resilience and overcome adversity;
  • Adopting an attitude of accountability; and
  • The Growth Mindset.

Price per on-site group workshop is $1295.00 (up to 18 seats) or $199.00 per person for individuals attending public courses delivered at the college or 3rd party venue.
