Sport Science Laboratory

The Sport Science Laboratories are used by faculty, staff, and students in the curriculum of numerous Sport Science courses. Students will have hands-on experience using the following instrumentation:

MOVEMENT ANALYSIS

  • Kinetic Analysis & Qualitative Assessment of Human Movement via:
    1. Motion Capture and analysis
    2. Functional Movement Screens
    3. Goniometry

       

  • Kinetic Analysis & Quantitative Assessment of Human Movement via:
  1.  Force platforms & Strain Gauges
  • Metabolic Assessment
    1. Aerobic power
    2. Anaerobic power
    3. Blood lactate
    4. Blood Glucose
    5. Power testing

       

  • Strength and Conditioning Assessment
  1. EMG
  2. Muscle stimulation
  3. Body Composition
