Academic & Professional Profile
I graduated from UBC School of Human Kinetics specializing in Health and Fitness. I have been involved in the Health and Fitness industry as a strength and conditioning professional and a health and wellness educator, developing workshops, and implementing various programs focusing on populations ranging from youth through to third age. Most recently I have pursued a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology through UVIC in the department of Exercise Science Health and Physical Education. I continue to be involved in the promotion and development of the health and fitness industry through current research and in my role within the Douglas College Sports Institute, where I continue to educate future and current fitness professionals and enthusiasts in the array of health and wellness.
As an instructor, I believe knowledge is contained within the questions inspired through the acquisition of education.
