Computing Studies and Information Systems

Welcome to the Computing Studies and Information Systems faculty page and congratulations on wanting to study in a field that is expanding as quickly as the information technology sector. Before we proceed any further, we have a few questions for you:

  • Do you want a dynamic (and very cool) career?
  • Do you have a passion for the latest apps? Are you ready to embrace the latest technology challenges head on?
  • Do you want a rewarding career that won't stand still?

If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, the Computing Studies and Information Systems program is for you. There has been a huge jump in computer-related careers over the last decade. This is a field where the need for skilled people outweighs the supply.

Both the CSIS Diploma program and the Computer and Information Systems Post-Baccalaureate Diploma program are co-op eligible. Put your skills to work with the Co-operative Education Program and gain paid, full-time work experience, and College credit.

For information on admission requirements, courses, intake dates and more, visit the Program and Course Catalogue

Note:  As of Summer 2015, the Computing Science and Information Systems Certificate program is no longer offered. Students who graduate before June 2018 will still receive a certificate in Computing Science and Information Systems, but students who graduate after June 2018 will receive a certificate in Computing Studies and Information Systems.
