Get the skills and education to launch a career in one of Canada’s fastest-growing sectors: Accounting and Finance.

If you enjoy problem solving and want a financially rewarding career, accounting is an excellent field for you. Douglas College's Accounting Department is a great place to develop skills that will help you thrive in an accounting or business career. Our programs will help you to:

  • Develop job-ready accounting skills.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and policies.
  • Put your skills to work with the Co-operative Education Program and gain paid, full-time work experience, while also earning College course credit. The Diploma in Accounting, BBA in Accounting, and PBD in Accounting and PBD in Accounting and Finance programs are all co-op eligible.
  • Qualify for entrance into the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Professional Education Program.

  • Qualify to write the National Examination for CPA Advanced Certificate in Accounting and Finance (ACAF).

  • Obtain exemption for F1 to F8 toward the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification.
  • Earn a Concentration in Data Analytics in Accounting and/or Taxation.
