Co-operative Education (Co-op) integrates academic studies with related work experience. After completing 18 credits Co-op students can alternate semesters of classroom studies with semesters of paid, full-time employment. This is a beneficial experience for Co-op students because they are more likely to find jobs in their field when they graduate.
The Co-op Job Board has moved to CareerHUB. You now have the opportunity to search Co-op job postings related to your program area, view events, make appointments for assistance from the Co-op staff and have access to additional resources. Please go to CareerHUB and start exploring. Please note we are still working out all the bugs. Let us know at email@example.com if you are faced with an error message. Visit us in our newly renovated office, #S2844 New West Campus. Co-op is now part of a larger team working alongside our colleagues in the Career Centre. Your first step into the Co-op program is to attend an Information session. Our next series of Information Sessions, for the Fall 2018 work-term, will take place at the New Westminster campus.
Applying for Co-op is as easy as 1, 2, 3! Once you meet the prerequisites below your application will be approved if you complete this three-step process.
If you need assistance updating your documents, please visit the Career Centre in room #S2844 at the New West Campus or room #A1430 at the Coquitlam Campus.
*You will need to submit your cover letter and resume to the Co-op department when you apply.
