A graduate from Vancouver Community College, Gerard Rances holds a Bachelors degree of Applied Music in Classical Voice Performance. Gerard is currently the Assistant Director at the school of Bravo Music where he oversees the day-to-day operations for over 200 students, teachers and staff combined. He is also the head theory, history and voice teacher at Bravo Music. Gerard also teaches voice, theory and history lessons at Long & McQuade in Port Coquitlam. In addition to teaching voice privately, he helps many students prepare for RCM exams in music theory and history. Between 2011 and 2014, he was a tenor soloist and section lead of both Pacific Spirit Choir and West Vancouver United Church. Between 2008 and 2013, he was the official music tutor at Douglas College for aural skills, theory and history.
