The Amelia Douglas Gallery at Douglas College is calling for submissions by Indigenous artists and makers for a group exhibit planned for September–October 2024. All artistic media are welcome! Paintings, carvings, beadwork, photography, mixed media, textiles, print, sculpture (no video installations, sorry!)
This presentation is planned to coincide with the annual New West Culture Crawl. No Gallery Commission—100% of sales go directly to artists.
To be considered for the show, please submit photos of up to three works for consideration. Tell us a little about yourself and your work. Just a few sentences will do.
Please send your submissions directly by email to artsevents@douglascollege.ca no later than May 10, 2024. Decisions will be made by the end of June. While we appreciate all submissions, only successful candidates will be contacted.
